Log in with OAuth2

Whichever service you log in with, we request your name and email address. If there's already an account with that email address, we'll log you in as that account. This makes it easy to recover your identity if you get logged out.

We retain your email address until you delete your account. We also retain your subject id / openid tag. We otherwise retain no data from the service you log in with.

When your account is created, we set your account name to the name we get from the service you logged in with. You can change your account name at any time.

Facebook will complain that the app is unauthorized; Blaine's Speed Matching is not a registered business with a VAT ID or bank account, and is thus ineligible for the business verification required to make that message go away.

AppleID is not supported because you can't create an AppleID OAuth2 client without paying a $99 annual membership fee to join the Apple Developer Program.

Log in with recovery phrase

If you can't remember what credentials you logged in with, the session admin can give you a four-word recovery phrase you can use to recover your account.

Log in as temporary user NOT RECOMMENDED

If you don't have any of the above services, you can log in as a temporary user. Your identity will be stored as a browser cookie. Certain browsers (e.g. Brave) regularly clear cookies, which can lead to you being suddenly logged out. If this happens, don't create a new identity! Instead, talk to the session admin, who can give you a recovery phrase.
